Claremont! Be sure to show up at the polls tomorrow in support of our endorsed candidateWhitney Skillen for Claremont School Board!

Throughout my life and career, I have held different roles that have required me to speak truth to power and work to end systemic oppression. It is an honor to continue doing this work as RAD’s Executive Director, and I’m eager meet all of you in the coming year.

We have so much to be proud of – from recent legislative victories in Montpelier to new leadership – and much to look towards as we set our sights on the midterm elections this year. Our movement politics work is effective largely because of our members participating in our endorsement process, lifting up our campaigns in their communities, and stepping up to run for office. None of that is possible without the support of our sustaining members; consider becoming one today.

RAD has changed significantly over the past two years. All of the wins and losses, new faces, and a shifting political landscape has led us to this unifying moment. Part of our mission is to be nimble and responsive to the needs of our communities, and lead the way in making transformative change with care and compassion through our work.

Thank you, to each and every one of you who have supported our work. Whether you have knocked doors, made calls, or even just read our newsletter, you are helping shift what is politically possible, moving our communities towards justice and equity. You are the heart behind our movement.

Support this movement in the most impactful way possible by joining it. When you do, you’re joining hundreds of members ready to win change across Vermont and New Hampshire.

In solidarity,

Kiah

Mark your calendars for our Race Class Academy series in April! The first of the four days begins Sunday, April 10th. Our series is open to anyone who wants to better understand the importance of using race-class messaging as a strategy to overcome efforts to divide us, change the narrative and win the changes that benefit us all.

With so much at stake for our communities, this is a highly recommended series for all leaders, organizers and people considering running for office! RSVP today.
