Progressive Manchester Meeting - Rights & Democracy NH

(6/7) Progressive Manchester Meeting

The Progressive Manchester group is making great headway together after two successful and well-attended meetings in the past two months.

At our May meeting, we decided on four key issues that we want to be the focus of our efforts:

  1. Affordable housing
  2. Public education
  3. Health care
  4. Livable wages

To help us get started, Isaac Grimm, Rights & Democracy's new Organizing Director in New Hampshire, has agreed to speak at our next meeting about a campaign he led in Vermont to raise the minimum wage and establish paid family medical leave insurance. With Isaac's input, we won't be starting completely from scratch!

Our third meeting will be held on Thursday, June 7 from 6:30 to 8 pm in the Winchell Room of the Manchester Library.  We will dig in further and develop action plans to address these four issues.

Let Kathy Staub know via email if you need more information or childcare.
