Let's commit to investing in peace, and divesting from war. Please join members of Rights & Democracy and special guests Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) and Ben Cohen of Ben & Jerry’s as we set priorities for 2020.
It’s time for our country to divest from nuclear weapons and war and reinvest in the needs of our communities.
We need a new social contract that includes universal health care, livable wages, public education, clean water, and a just transition to 100% renewable energy.
Please RSVP so Ben knows how much ice cream to bring! Snacks and refreshments provided by The Common Man.
Please note: The address of The Center for Recovery resources is listed as 1 Pleasant St, but the actual entrance is around the corner on Sullivan St. There are 2 suites which are connected, Suites 104 & 105, so if 1 door is locked please try the other one!
