With International Overdose Awareness Day coming up RAD is providing an opportunity for our members to connect and learn about the Opioid/Overdose Crisis, the current work of the recovery community, and more deeply understand the crisis’ causes, its disproportionate impact on low income communities and communities of color, and what we can do as Granite Staters to end the War on Drugs and the Opioid Crisis. Together with leaders in the recovery community we will discussing the Opioid/Overdose Crisis in the context of the 2018 elections and looking toward the 2019 legislative session in NH. We will also examine the critical question of how the crisis of our broken healthcare system intersections with addiction and lack of adequate recovery services.
RADNH Grassroots Organizer Heather Stockwell will moderate, and we will be joined by the following speakers:
Adam Kruggel - Director of Strategic Initiatives with People's Action
Daniel Raymond - Deputy Director of Planning and Policy with the Harm Reduction Coalition
Leaders in the NH recovery community (names announced soon!)
If you have a question you'd like to ask our speakers please post it in the comments when you rsvp or join the Zoom call and ask the question through the chat function!
